Physics Simulations Lab
Move a particle. Shape a wave. Bend spacetime. Every simulation puts the controls in your hands, from everyday motion to the quantum world.
Pick a question and write down what you expect before touching anything.
Move a single slider and watch the simulation respond in real time.
Check the result against your prediction, then read the equations behind it.
Explore at your own pace. Your progress, predictions and notes stay in your browser.
Take a guided pathShare an exact experiment or a classroom link that hides everything else. Nothing to install, no accounts.
See lesson packsEvery simulation states its equations, assumptions and limits, so you know what you're looking at.
Open the full model guidePreview mode. The library, search, settings and languages work here. To run the simulations, open index_v2.html from the unzipped simulations_updated folder.
73 simulations across 9 subjects
Build connections
Follow a sequence of experiments that build on each other. Steps you've opened are checked off automatically.
Scientific foundations
These are teaching models. Each experiment states its equations and assumptions. Numerical models and schematic illustrations have different limits.
No ads, no accounts, no paywall on the simulations. Supporters pay for hosting and new experiments.
For teachers
Print-ready lessons built around PSL simulations: student worksheets, direct experiment links, prediction questions, data tables, answer explanations and a teacher guide. Students still use every simulation for free.
Lesson packs are written in English.

In the works
Tell us which one you want first, and we'll email you when it's ready.
PDF files you can print or project: a student worksheet booklet and a teacher guide with a full answer key. The bundle also includes a unit assessment, pacing guide and vocabulary list.
No. Students open the simulations in any modern browser, with nothing to install and no logins. Use Share → Classroom in PSL to give them a link that shows only the experiment.
Yes. The license covers one teacher: print the worksheets or post them on a password-protected class page for your own students. Please don't post them publicly or pass them to other teachers.
Every number was calculated from the same equations the simulations use and checked against their on-screen readouts. Student stopwatch timings will vary slightly, and the teacher guide says by how much.
Yes. The free sample is the complete pendulum lesson, with both the student worksheet and the teacher guide.
